From the Archive

This blog has laid dormant for a while, as in, over a decade. The creative spirit has flown elsewhere yet I kept the blog alive by paying the yearly hosting fees. I never stopped writing—I just moved to other formats, lived new experiences, and withdrew a bit from the public eye like a Jungian character. The thought process was, life is ephemeral, but the ultimate reality and testament to our existence is here and now. Why write? You will not preserve yourself, your lived reality is everything. Said differently, whatever marks you leave on the world are permanently inscribed in the universal space time, altering the future every so slightly, no matter if you documented it or not.

But then came the twist. The creative need, the creative spirit. The urge to give it hands and to get out of its way, the way Robert Rodriguez so eloquently put it. With that also comes the willingness to be seen, because no matter how you are perceived, you shall not blink, because your silent commitment is to a body of work you do not know why you are supposed to create, just that you are supposed to.

Over the next couple of days I will release old writings and thoughts that were saved as drafts on this blog, but never published. After that, new writings will be released.

Enjoy!
